We are pleased to invite scholars to submit tutorial proposals for the upcoming DAFx conference. Tutorial sessions will have an approximate duration of 1h30m and should be aimed at early practitioners in the DAFx community.
Tutorials should provide participants, particularly young researchers and graduate students, an opportunity to deepen their understanding of key topics in digital signal processing (DSP), effects modeling, machine learning for audio, spatial audio, and other areas central to the DAFx community.
Those wishing to propose a tutorial session must complete the proposal form below by Friday, April 3rd, 2026.
Proposals should include a title, brief abstract, a short instructor's biography, and an outline of the session topics with approximate timings. Any special equipment or software requirements should be specified as well. Interactive code or demos that participants can follow along are encouraged (ex. Python Notebooks).
Submissions will be reviewed based on relevance, clarity, and potential impact. Decision will be communicated by Friday, May 15th, 2026.
